Yesterday I came across a collection of the 38 known self-portraits by Vincent Van Gogh. The portraits include sketches and paintings by the Dutch master. It is pretty incredible if you know any of his back story at all, to flip through all of these works and try to imagine what was going on in his life at the time each was created.
