Esp was into this piece by Swampy. That thing was huge. Props. I also snapped some crap this weekend with the 5D (yeah, brought it out of retirement). I’ll prob put them up nxt week before Bermuda.
Domino Sugar Factory (Part 2)
Here are some more images from inside of the old Domino Sugar factory. In the previous post, I focused on the pieces associated with the art installation that opened last Saturday. In this post, I’m sharing photos of the actual structure, which for me was as interesting as the art exhibit that was contained therein.
Domino Sugar Factory (Part 1)
I popped by the old Domino Sugar factory on Saturday to see the new Kara Walker installation. The Domino Sugar factory is slated to be razed in the coming months to make room for luxury condos. I was very excited to be able to check out the inside of this industrial icon. It was like stepping into a time capsule of old industrial Brooklyn. Oh yeah, and the art was pretty interesting. In this post, I’m including my images of the pieces placed by Walker. I’ll write a follow-up post which will focus more on the structure. Enjoy.

My friends at Cold Smoke hit me up recently to get some snaps of their ‘Aurora’ down jacket. Over the weekend ended up being the perfect wintry type of weather to for the images we wanted.

I spent some time cycling over the weekend. I wanted to peep the new murals that went up in BK in connection with the Wooster Collective 10 Exhibit. They were all good. This Shepard Fairey piece was my favorite, though. And unfortunately, I snapped my favorite shot of it (with Trixie below) with my phone, and not a real camera. Prospect Park Boathouse
I attended a friend’s wedding over the weekend. It was at the Prospect Park Boathouse in Brooklyn. I have been to that park on several occasions (mostly for races), but was completely unaware that the park had a lake and a boathouse. I suppose that I should have known better, since it is like a mini version of Central Park (both parks were designed by the same architect). Anyway, the wedding was beautiful. Here are a couple of snaps that I grabbed from the inside of the boathouse.
